  I knew 2 annointed...

  1. Ministerial Servant. Very smart and eloquent. He never progressed to elder because the BOE felt he needed to "simplify his speech" when giving talks or answering during the rag study. I just think he was never recommended because the BOE felt intimidated by him. He started to partake in his late 30's..

  2. Pioneer Sister. Mentally unstable with occasional fits of anger. But the elders felt she qualified to pioneer since she had a nack for getting Bible studies and return visits. She died recently and her elder husband was disfellowshipped for soliciting the services of a professional escort (or should i say "social worker").

  Going door to door in extreme weather

  this morning as i got up, it was 0 f outside.

  this morning at 9 o'clock as usual the same witnesses will go door to door at this temperature.

  i already saw them going door to door at -25 f. i wonder what it would take for them to say it is too cold or too hot to go out in the field service?

  Child Protective Services should be contacted whenever JW parents drag their children to Field Circus under extreme weather conditions... now that's child abuse!!!

  I remember getting frost bit one Saturday morning at age 9... I'll never forget it... But I can't blame my parents... this came on the heels of a Do-More-Or Die Talk back in January of '74...

  Mic issues

  so on friday all day, the mic guy did a bang up job.....until david splane got to the podium.

  it looked like he discussed how the mic should be set up for him, then finally when the mic guy was walking away david says " well im glad we got that settled".

  then today same thing, he got the mic guy to readjust the mic for him again.

  All David Splane had to do is simply walk around the podium and adjust the microphone stand himself... It would have taken him all of 5 seconds... But that's probably beneath him... besides, he probably enjoys publicly humiliating people whenever the opportunity presents itself...

  apparently it's not on general release, only being viewed during co visits at the moment.

  So it appears the rumor about Geoffrey Jackson getting married again (after his wife's fairly recent passing) is true...

  Sadly, he's already referring to his new wife as "The Wife" as if she were an inanimate object (maybe she's inanimate in bed, who knows?)... but this is indicative of backward JW upbringing...

  Sorry for getting off topic, Slim... couldn't help myself...

  Anyways, so they're now introducing the idea of packing up your shit and moving your entire family to a 3rd-world country as another way to improve their youth retention rate... I've never heard that before... it'll be interesting to see what the rags for 2014 will look like...

  what most people fail to realize about 1914

  in 1914 a great war broke out and the jw's have used that to add credibility to their idea that jesus took over power in that year and satan was cast out to earth.

  what most people forget or do not realize is that jesus said there would be 'wars and reports of wars' but no big deal for the time was not yet.

  then of course the great tribulation would break out and would be a game changer, but in the 1960's the gb stopped saying the great tribulation started in 1914 and said its now a future event.

  Also, supposedly Jesus took the throne in October 2 or 3, 1914, then started a war in the heavens. At the end of this heavenly war, Jesus kicked Satan's ass and cast him down to the earth along with his demon soldiers. Afterwards, because he had great anger from getting his ass kicked, Satan decided to stir up some more shit by provoking the "Great War"...

  Sounds half-way believable so far... except for one minor detail...

  what i found most interesting in this 2014 theocratic ministry school schedule were the subjects that would be discussed during the week of jesus' supposed 100th anniversary on the throne.... week of oct.6.

  bible reading: deuteronomy 1-3 no.1: deuteronomy 2:16-30 no.2: relief from satans wicked in?uence is near (rs p.3654 p.3663) no.3: does the bible teach that sexual relations are sinful?
